UGV is searching for a supplier of drilling pipes

On April 16, 2024, Ukrgasvydobuvannya (UGV) JSC announced two tenders for the purchase of drilling pipes with welded tool joints. The tenders were announced on the Prozorro platform with a total expected value of UAH 296.16 million (including VAT). Term and conditions of delivery: within 210 calendar days from the date of the contract conclusion, but no later than December 31, 2024. Place of delivery: Ukrburgaz (branch of UGV) in the Kharkiv region.

Companies may submit tender proposals until April 29, 2024; seek clarification or appeal the procurement terms until April 26, 2024.

According to UGV, the ordered pipes have to be manufactured in accordance with the requirements of API 5DP PSL-3 standard with strength groups G-105 or S-135. The total length of the ordered pipes is 46.1 km. The wall thickness of the ordered pipes ranges from 7.11 to 10.54 mm.

As a reminder, in September 2023, UGV signed an agreement with Vorex LLC for the supply of 258 weighted drilling pipes for UAH 75 million or $2.05 million (including VAT) with delivery by April 30, 2024. The place of delivery is the company's storage facilities in the Kharkiv region. Vorex won the UGV tender, in which 4 companies participated.

As ExPro previously reported, Vorex recently blocked Ukrgasvydobuvannya's procurements of seamless casing pipes through the court. In January-February, UGV held 4 tenders for the purchase of seamless casing pipes, which Interpipe Ukraine LLC won with a total offer of UAH 1.153 billion (including VAT). However, Vorex (which participated in the tenders) appealed to the Antimonopoly Committee of Ukraine (AMCU), considering that the conditions of the tenders were discriminatory towards foreign companies. The AMCU dismissed Vorex’s complaint, therefore company applied to the court.
