UGV drilled a new well in the Kharkiv region with a daily production of 140 tcm

Ukrgazvydobuvannya JSC (UGV), which is part of the structure of Naftogaz of Ukraine NJSC drilled a new well in the Kharkiv region with a daily natural gas production of 140 tcm. Oleksiy Chernyshov, the newly appointed chairman of the board of Naftogaz, announced this on Facebook.

"Increasing our own gas production and implementing projects that will bring us closer to energy stability and independence is an absolute priority, especially today, when the enemy has chosen the energy sector as a target," Chernyshov said.

According to him, the additional production of gas is help in passing this year's heating season.

According to ExPro calculations, UGV produced more than 11 bcm of natural gas during 10 months of 2022, 3% less than last year.

As reported by ExPro, the Government appointed Oleksiy Chernyshov as the new chairman of Naftogaz of Ukraine.
