The sub-sanctioned company Service Oil wants to collect UAH 92 million from DTEK for drilling
Service Oil LLC (a subsidiary of the Belarusian Belorusneft) applied to the Commercial Court of Kyiv with a claim against Naftogazvydobuvannya PrJSC (owned by DTEK) for recovery of UAH 41.4 million, according to the court register.
The claims are based on the improper performance by Naftogazvydobuvannya of the obligations assumed under Contract No. 6578-NGD for the performance of well drilling works dated November 12, 2021.
The claim was filed in violation of the requirements, so the court left it motionless. Later, Service Oil eliminated the shortcomings of the statement of claim. After eliminating the shortcomings, the court accepted the claim for consideration and scheduled a preliminary court hearing, which was later postponed to May 25, 2023, and the amount that Service Oil wants to collect from Naftogazvydobuvannya increased to UAH 92 million.
As reported by ExPro, DTEK can become the manager of seized property of Service Oil, in particular drilling rigs.
