The share of state-owned companies in the structure of electricity imports in February 2024 was 18%, exports - 50%. This is evidenced by ExPro Electricity monitoring data. A detailed review will be published in ExPro Electricity Monthly.
As previously reported in ExPro, in February 2024, electricity export increased 12 times compared to January - to 63 thousand MWh, and import decreased by 31.5% - to 84.1 thousand MWh.
State-owned Ukrhydroenergo exported electricity to Moldova and Romania in February. The total number of exporters in February is 4.
State energy trader "Energy Company of Ukraine" imported electricity from Slovakia and Romania. According to the ExPro Electricity Monthly review, "EСU" became the first in imports specifically in the Slovak direction. The total number of importers in February exceeds 30.
