The regulator set new maximum prices on the electricity market.
The corresponding resolution was adopted at the meeting on June 27.
The resolution enters into force on June 30.
Final price limits:
On the day-ahead market:
- maximum marginal prices for hours of minimum load (from 00:00 to 07:00 and from 23:00 to 24:00) – 3,000 UAH/MWh, for hours of maximum load (from 07:00 to 19:00) - UAH 5,600/MWh, for "evening peak" hours (from 19:00 to 23:00) - UAH 7,200/MWh;
- minimum marginal price – UAH 10/MWh;
On the intraday market:
- maximum marginal prices for hours of minimum load (from 00:00 to 07:00 and from 23:00 to 24:00) – 3,000 UAH/MWh, for hours of maximum load (from 07:00 to 19:00) - UAH 5,600/MWh, for "evening peak" hours (from 19:00 to 23:00) - UAH 7,200/MWh; -
minimum marginal price – UAH 10/MWh;
In a balancing market:
- the maximum limit price – 125% of the DAM price determined by the market operator for each calculation period of the corresponding day of supply;
- minimum marginal price – UAH 0.01/MWh.
Thus, the upper price limits have increased by 40-80%, and the lower price limits have been lowered to the minimum level.
