The Naftogaz Security Service and the National Police detained the thieves of oil products

The security service of Naftogaz of Ukraine together with the National Police of Ukraine detained the thieves of oil products. This was announced by the head of Naftogaz Oleksiy Chernyshov.

According to him, 6 people were caught red-handed during an illegal cut into an oil pipeline in the Zhytomyr region.

The perpetrators were apprehended thanks to the coordinated work of the Naftogaz security service, which promptly identified another accomplice of the thieves - the senior inspector of the security department of the Naftogazbezpeka state-owned enterprise. Now he will answer to the law.

"My position is that such people have no place in the Naftogaz Group, so he was fired. Any hint of corruption is unacceptable to me. I will not allow stealing from the state, and therefore from Ukrainians. No compromise with corruption! The consequences will be immediate, I warn," Chernyshov commented.

Oleksiy Chernyshov also thanked the Minister of Internal Affairs Igor Klymenko for his cooperation and the head of the National Police Ivan Vyhivskyi for the professional actions of the police.
