The independent supervisory board of Ukrnafta will be formed by the end of 2023

On Friday, October 27, the general meeting of shareholders of Ukrnafta PJSC was held, Oleksiy Chernyshov, Chairman of the Board of Naftogaz of Ukraine, announced.

At the meeting, the conditions and procedures for selecting independent members of the company's supervisory board were approved.

"It can be said that it is a historic event: we have approved the conditions and procedure for selecting independent members of the company's supervisory board," Chernyshov commented.

According to him, the selection will take place in accordance with the OECD principles of corporate governance of state-owned enterprises. This procedure will be completed and the independent supervisory board of Ukrnafta will be formed by the end of 2023.
