The head of Naftogaz held a meeting with the German special envoy Georg Milbradt

Oleksiy Chernyshov, the chairman of the board of OJSC Naftogaz of Ukraine, discussed the implementation of the decentralization reform in Ukraine with the special envoy of the German government on decentralization.

"The war stopped this reform. But it is worth understanding that decentralization, which my team and I actively worked on in the Ministry of Regions, today is an important factor in civil defense capability," Chernyshov noted.

According to the head of Naftogaz, it is critical that this reform be continued and properly completed.

"We have to think about the future of the country already today - when our soldiers choose our freedom at the cost of their lives on the front line," Chernyshov concluded.
