The government has once again designated Naftogaz as the "last hope" supplier on the gas market

The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine obliged the Gas Supply Company Naftogaz of Ukraine LLC, which is part of the Naftogaz Group, to perform the functions of the "last hope" supplier in the natural gas market until the end of martial law and six months after its cancellation. Taras Melnychuk, the representative of the government in the Parliament, reported this on Telegram.

"For the period of martial law and within six months after its termination or cancellation, Gas Supply Company Naftogaz of Ukraine LLC was designated as the "last hope" supplier without holding a tender," Melnychuk said.

It will be recalled that Naftogaz announced that from July 22, 2023, the company has finished performing the functions of a supplier of "last hope".
