The flow rate of the new well drilled by Naftogaz at the Yablunivske field amounted to 365 tcm per day

According to the results of testing the new well No. 366 of the Yablunivske field, Naftogaz received a preliminary flow daily rate of 365 tcm, the press service reported.

Well testing and survey are currently ongoing. For this field, this is the result of the work of geologists and drillers. The well was drilled by a ZJ-70 rig to the target depth of 5,070 m in six months at a rate of penetration of 1,109 metres per month.

The use of oil-based mud for the reservoir section drilling and open-hole completion with a slotted liner minimized the skin effect and gave such a high initial flow rate. The company noted that this result was achieved due to the work of developers, drillers, and engineers of the Khrestyschenske drilling office.
