The first auctions of guarantees of origin were held in Ukraine

The first auctions of guarantees of origin of electricity produced from renewable sources were held in Ukraine. Market participants purchased 28,257 guarantees of origin, which is equivalent to 28,257 MWh offered by Ukrhydroenergo PJSC. This was reported in JSC "Market Operator".

"28,257 guarantees of origin were purchased, which were offered by Ukrhydroenergo PrJSC at the site of JSC "Market Operator". 12 Ukrainian companies became their owners", - reports in "Market Operator".

According to the auction results, the price of one guarantee of origin remained at the starting level of UAH 13/MW*h. In general, it was possible to realize 56.5% of the proposed volume (50,000 MW*h).

As reported in ExPro, the Regulator issued the first guarantees of the origin of electric energy produced from renewable energy sources for PJSC "Ukrhydroenergo" for a total volume of 96,441 MWh.
