The energy market is an investment that will make Ukraine a stable exporter of gas to Europe, Chernyshov

The introduction of the energy market and the liberalization of energy prices are irreversible processes of reforming the energy industry. This will stimulate production efficiency and become an impetus for additional investments.

Oleksiy Chernyshov, the head of Naftogaz, told about this on the telethon following the results of a working trip to Berlin and participation in the VI German-Ukrainian Economic Forum.

"Investments, which will be a consequence of the introduction of the energy market in Ukraine, will lead to the fact that in about 4-5 years our state will be able to become a stable exporter of natural gas to Europe. Already this year, we rely only on gas from our own production. In the future, under the conditions of increasing production, reducing consumption, and implementing energy efficiency measures, we have every opportunity to become a stable exporter of gas to Europe," said the head of the Naftogaz Group.
