The debt of NPC "Ukrenergo" to the "Guaranteed Buyer" for RES service has already exceeded UAH 21 billion

The debt of NPC "Ukrenergo" to SE "Guaranteed Buyer" for renewable energy services increased by 15% in a month - up to UAH 21.5 billion. This was reported in "Guaranteed Buyer".

The "Guaranteed buyer" made an advance payment to the producers at the "green" tariff for 20 days in June 2023. Currently, the percentage of payment is 42.3%. We would like to emphasize that for 20 days in June, the state-owned enterprise settled with the producers according to the "green" tariff exclusively at the expense of those funds received as a result of trading activities," the state-owned company indicates.

According to ExPro calculations, since February 2023, the indebtedness of NPC "Ukrenergo" to the "Guaranteed Buyer" has increased by 70%. According to the "Guaranteed Buyer", since the beginning of the year, 2,642,000 MWh of electricity have been purchased at the "green" tariff. The level of settlements for 2022 is 55.2%, several months of 2023 - 53.5%.

Due to the funds received from NPC "Ukrenergo" for the Service of April 2022, SE "Guaranteed Buyer" made two payments to producers at the beginning of the month under the "green" tariff for April 2022 in the amount of UAH 253 million and UAH 500 million, which in total equals UAH 753 million.
