The American Petroleum Institute has certified Uniburtekh bits to API Specification Q1

Universalna Burilna Tekhnika (Universal Drilling Equipment) LLC in August 2021 completed the of the American Petroleum Institute's (API) recertification of the quality management system for design and manufacture of cone bits for compliance with the API Specification Q1 - Specification for Quality Management System Requirements for the Petroleum and Natural Gas Industry.

The Quality Director of Uniburtekh LLC Andriy Kolodiy announced this.

According to the report, along with the recertification of cone bits, the control system for the design and manufacture of PDC bits was certified.

As a result, Uniburtekh LLC received Certificate No.Q1-3693, which confirmed the compliance of the quality management system for the design and manufacture of cone and PDC bits with the API Specification Q1.

Additionally, the products were certified and certificate No. 7-1-1409 was obtained on compliance of cone and PDC bits with the API Specification 7-1. This certificate is also a licence that gives the right to apply the official American Petroleum Institute (API) monogram to certified products.

Andriy Kolodiy noted that it is symbolic that the American Petroleum Institute (API) issued certificates to Uniburtekh LLC on August 24, the Independence Day of Ukraine.
