Tariffs for gas storage in Ukrainian UGS will remain unchanged until the end of 2024 - Malyutin

Tariffs for storage, injection, and withdrawal of natural gas in Ukrainian underground gas storage facilities will not change until the end of 2024. Roman Malyutin, head of Ukrtransgaz JSC, announced this on TV.

"Ukrainian storage facilities are the largest in terms of storage volume and can hold more than 30 bcm of gas. This season, we offer our foreign customers more than 10 bcm of gas storage, and gas storage tariffs will not be changed until the end of 2024. We constantly work with customers of storage services and inform them about the safety of gas storage in our UGS," said the head of Ukrtransgaz, Roman Malyutin.

Ukrtransgaz notes that preparations for the next heating season are taking place as planned, and taking into account the fact that European gas storage facilities are more than 80% full, foreign clients are actively pumping gas into Ukrainian UGS. Ukrainian gas storage facilities have sufficient capacity for both injecting and withdrawing significant volumes of gas.
