Tacrom will perform 25 hydraulic fracturing operations at UGV fields by the end of September 2024

Tacrom Ukraine LLC submitted the best offer in the tender of Ukrgasvydobuvannya JSC for 25 hydraulic fracturing operations and expects to sign an agreement worth UAH 160.785 million (including VAT). Location: UGV wells in the Poltava, Kharkiv, Dnipropetrovs'k, Sumy, Lviv, Ivano-Frankivsk, Volyn, Zakarpattia and Chernivtsi regions. The term of services is until September 30, 2024.

In early February, UGV announced a tender for 50 hydraulic fracturing operations at its own wells. The tender consisted of two lots with 25 operations each. However, due to the lack of bids, UGV canceled the auction for the second lot.

Before starting hydraulic fracturing, Tacrom Ukraine must provide Ukrgasvydobuvannya with confirmation of the good working condition of the hydraulic fracturing control station, a blender for preparing liquids, a hydration unit, a proppant tanker, equipment for the delivery and heating of fracturing fluid, equipment for water filtration, pumping units with a total capacity of at least 12 kHP (approximately 8.9 MW) and a set of low- and high-pressure injection lines. According to the tender documentation, most operations will be performed in gas and gas condensate wells with a depth ranging from 1,000 to 6,000 meters and a temperature ranging from 30 to 140 °C.

According to the tender documents, Tacrom Ukraine will conduct an informational mini-fracturing, propane and fracturing fluids injection, and operations to maintain annular pressure. Upon completion of the work, the company will transport the waste generated as a result of hydraulic fracturing to the place of storage or disposal.

In May 2023, Ukrgasvydobuvannya signed an agreement with Tacrom Ukraine to conduct 100 hydraulic fracturing operations at the company's wells after Tacrom won the Prozorro auction.

Besides, In February, Tacrom Ukraine won the tender of PJSC Ukrnafta for 35 hydraulic fracturing operations at the company's wells for almost UAH 161 million (including VAT).
