Slovakian Nafta withdrew the project on Yuzivska area
Slovakian Nafta and Energetický a Pr myslový Holding (EPH) have withdrawn from the project on the conclusion of a production sharing agreement (PSA) for hydrocarbon production on the Yuzivska area. This was reported by the Head of the State Service of Geology and Subsoil of Ukraine Roman Opimakh.
“To my knowledge, Nafta and EPH have refused to participate in the Yuzgaz project. They withdrew their financial guarantees. In addition, investments into this area have been zero, i.e. investment commitments were not met,” Opimakh said during presentation of Investment Atlas of subsoil user.
According to him, the Interdepartmental Committee on the Organization of PSA Conclusion will consider the issue of the contract termination with these companies, and the placement of the area for new competitions.
We remind that in the end of October, a subsidiary of Slovak Nafta – Nafta RV LLC, won the electronic auction of Derzhheonadra for the purchase of Vatazhkivska are (Poltava region), UAH 6.794 million worth.
