Rosatom and IAEA agree to discuss professional issues "without politics" - Energoatom

Rosatom and the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) have agreed to discuss exceptionally professional issues without politics.

This was reported in the press center of NNEGC Energoatom, citing a statement by Alexei Likhachev, head of the Russian nuclear state corporation, for one of the propaganda TV channels in Russia.

«We have agreed with our colleagues from the IAEA that we are leaving politics out and talking just about professional cooperation» Likhachov said. He noted that for the russian side «the main task in difficult modern conditions is to ensure maximum safety of Ukraine's nuclear facilities. For sure, to stay out of politics, out of political assessments, throwing 110 percent of the potential to address exceptionally technological issues is a great merit of the current IAEA leadership».

Already in Energoatom they say that if such agreements are really present, then for the IAEA the war and acts of nuclear terrorism on the part of the Russian Federation remain simply a "political issue" that does not require an urgent solution.
