Petro Kotin dismissed from the position of head of Energoatom
The Supervisory Board of JSC NNEGC Energoatom dismissed Petro Kotin from the position of chairman of the company's board.

The duties of chairman of the board will be performed by Pavlo Kovtonyuk, who is the general director of the Rivne NPP.
"We express our gratitude to Mr. Kotin for decades of dedicated service to the company and for ensuring the safe and efficient operation of nuclear power plants and other Energoatom facilities," the press release says.
As noted in Energoatom, Kovtonyuk has the experience and professional qualities necessary for this role, which will ensure the stable operation of the company and proper preparation for the critically important autumn-winter period.

"In addition, it is proposed to create three new key positions: Chief Operating Officer (COO), Vice President for Governance and Ethics, and Vice President for Finance and Strategy," the Supervisory Board reported.
A competitive selection process for the position of permanent Chairman of the Board, as well as for all other current positions on the Board, will begin soon.
As previously reported in ExPro, the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine has amended the Charter of JSC "NNEGC "Energoatom".
"The Supervisory Board consists of seven members. The Supervisory Board includes independent members of the Supervisory Board, the number of which should be four members of the Supervisory Board (the majority of the Supervisory Board members), as well as members of the Supervisory Board - representatives of the state in the number of three members of the Supervisory Board," the updated version of the Charter states.
