Oschadbank returned UAH 3.04 billion to accounts Guaranteed Buyer at the request of the new management

The Oschadbank returned to the SE Guaranteed Buyer's accounts the funds not paid to the producers of "green" electricity, in the amount of UAH 3.04 billion, after a corresponding request from the new management of the state enterprise. The company argues that such an appeal is possible illegal accrual of payments to producers of RES.

This was reported on November 17, 2021,by the State Enterprise Guaranteed Buyer.

"On Monday, the first day of work on November 15, 21, the new head sent a letter to the bank with a request to return the funds not yet transferred for the analysis of payment orders and confirmation of the legality of accrued payments for each green energy producer. At the time of receiving the letter, the bank had already processed payment orders in the amount of UAH 16.27 billion. The balance in the amount of UAH 3.04 billion, which has not yet been transferred by the bank, was returned to the accounts of the SE Guaranteed Buyer,” said in the statement.

The reason for such a request from the SE Guaranteed Buyer is to counter a possible threat of illegal transfer of funds to "green" producers.

At the same time, DTEK Renewables claimed discrimination in repaying debts to producers of "green" electricity. The company has not received the relevant payments from the SE Guaranteed Buyer, although other companies have already paid the debt in full.
