Oleksiy Chernyshov took part in the meeting of the Ukraine-NATO Council committee

Oleksiy Chernyshov, Chairman of the Board of Naftogaz of Ukraine, took part in the first meeting of the committee under the newly created Ukraine-NATO Council on Friday, which was held at the NATO headquarters in Brussels. This was reported by Oleksiy Chernyshov on Facebook.

The head of Naftogaz briefed the representatives of the member countries of the Alliance on how to secure Ukrainian energy facilities.

At a meeting with Deputy Secretary General of NATO David van Wiel, the parties discussed the state of Ukrainian energy, and the importance of air defense means for its protection.

"The Alliance is ready to support Ukraine as long as it is necessary. We are doing everything possible to protect the energy infrastructure as much as possible from Russian attacks," Chernyshov commented.
