Novoyavorivska CHP began preparations for the new heating season

Work is underway to prepare the main and auxiliary equipment of Naftogaz's Novoyavorivska central heating plant for the new heating season. Employees of the CHP have already conducted hydraulic tests and discovered damaged areas of heating networks.

"We have determined the scope of work that must be carried out in order to prepare the CHP and heating networks in time for the new heating season. Among the priority tasks: revision and replacement of shut-off fittings of heating boilers No. 1, and 2, an inspection of the pipe part of the mains water heater, revision of shut-off fittings in central heating points, and many other works that must be performed in order to pass the 2023/2024 heating season without incident," Stepan Naumchyk, director of Novoyavorivska CHP, said.

In the near future, employees of the Novoyavorivska CHP will carry out the following repair works:

• Cleaning of thermal chambers.
• Revision of electric motors of feed pumps with replacement of bearings.
• Restoration of the damaged part of the masonry of boiler No. 1.
• Restoration of the embrasure of the boiler furnace.
• Replacement of damaged sections of main pipelines near CTP No. 2 and in the area of Verbytskogo Street (second microdistrict).
