NEURC approved the new compliance program of the GTS Operator of Ukraine

NEURC has approved a new compliance program for GTS Operator of Ukraine LLC (GTSOU), reports the press service of GTSOU.

Changes in the provisions of the GTSOU Compliance Program mainly relate to the requirements for the GTSOU to carry out electricity generation activities separately from natural gas transportation activities.

The previous compliance program was approved in 2020 under European operator certification requirements. According to GTSOU, several important events for the company took place in 2023. In particular, the ownership structure of GTSOU was optimized, and the company was allowed to produce electricity to reduce the risks of violating the security of its supply. These changes led to an update to the compliance program.
