Naftogaz took part in the Congress of Local and regional authorities chaired by the president

Naftogaz is working closely with the mayors and heads of regional military administrations to improve the state of calculations and prepare the infrastructure for the 2023-2024 heating season. This was announced by the Chairman of the Board of Naftogaz of Ukraine Oleksiy Chernyshov during the congress of local and regional authorities chaired by the President of Ukraine on July 30, 2023.

Among the issues discussed at the congress are the increase of own production and the creation of gas reserves.

"One of the key tasks is to increase production and create gas reserves for a sustainable heating season. We have to provide 14.7 bcm before its start. As of today, the dynamics of injection exceeds last year's figures, despite the fact that the level of gas consumption has increased," Chernyshov noted.
