Naftogaz together with the local authorities resolves the Poltava gas supply issue

The Naftogaz group and the local government of the Poltava region are solving the issue of the further fate of the debts of the Kremenchuk Thermal Power Plant to Gas Supply Company Naftogaz Trading LLC to ensure uninterrupted supply of gas to the community.

The director of corporate and regulatory relations of the Naftogaz Group, Ivan Lukerya, announced this based on the results of the meeting.

The parties agreed to work out and sign a road map as soon as possible, the implementation of which will make it possible to ensure the supply of natural gas to the Poltavateploenergo enterprise on the terms of the PSO.

"The Naftogaz Group welcomes the process of understanding that was achieved and is ready to settle this issue as soon as possible," Lukerya commented.

According to the head of the Poltava Regional Council Oleksandr Bilenkoy, the Kremenchug TPP owed Naftogaz Trading UAH 1.3 billion.
