Naftogaz Teplo carried out hydraulic tests of networks at Novorozdilska CHP

Immediately after the end of the heating season, the workers of Naftogaz's Novorozdilska CHP started preparing the main equipment of the heating plant and heating networks for the next winter.

According to the company, one of the priority tasks is testing heat networks for density, since it is precisely on the health of the networks that the uninterrupted supply of heat to people's homes depends.

"Hydraulic tests make it possible to clearly understand which sections of heating networks need the attention of our specialists. After filling the heating network under pressure, we identify those sections of the pipeline that could not withstand the pressure and needed repair or replacement. Such tests are conducted every year because the pipelines in the city were laid in the last century and many of them have already exhausted their resource", - said the chief engineer of Novorozdilska CHP Yuriy Ovsiak.

After the hydraulic tests, the employees of the heating network shop conducted an inspection of the heating lines and discovered 7 gusts on the main pipelines. First of all, repair work will begin on the pipeline that supplies coolant from the CHP to the city.
