Naftogaz purchased more than 700 mcm of Ukrainian-produced natural gas on the exchange

Naftogaz of Ukraine NJSC during the two months from April 26 to June 26, 2023, purchased more than 700 mcm of natural gas of Ukrainian production on the Ukrainian Energy Exchange (UEEX). This is evidenced by ExPro calculations.

The weighted average purchase price of natural gas at Naftogaz auctions amounted to 10,592 UAH/tcm (without VAT). In general, Naftogaz purchased Ukrainian-produced resources for UAH 7.4 billion.

According to ExPro calculations, the company purchased most of the gas with delivery to UGS - 552.6 mcm, the rest with delivery on VTP. Purchase prices for two months were 10,560 - 10,972 UAH/tcm (without VAT).

The company continues to go to the stock exchange every day, buying Ukrainian-produced natural gas. According to Oleksiy Dubovsky, 15 companies, including 7 miners and 8 traders, became gas sellers for Naftogaz.
