Naftogaz provides consumers with gas in the conditions of Russian attacks on the energy infrastructure

Naftogaz of Ukraine continues to provide consumers with natural gas in extremely difficult conditions for the country, when the Russian occupiers continue systematic massive shelling of Ukraine's energy infrastructure. This was announced by the head of Naftogaz Oleksiy Chernyshov.

Thus, in Donetsk region, Donetskoblgaz restored gas supply to more than 80,000 consumers, gas supply was restored to 41 settlements. Currently, the company is working on restoring gas supply to 24 more settlements. Since the beginning of the war, 593 km of networks have been repaired.

Ukrtransgaz JSC as the operator of Ukrainian UGS is preparing for new challenges. "We have already seriously strengthened and continue to strengthen the UGS energy supply system, employees are preparing for all options of emergency situations. Yesterday, this work gave its results," Chernyshov noted.

Thus, despite the problem with the power supply, dispatchers quickly changed the mode of operation of the storage facilities, which made it possible to balance the system. Thanks to this, all gas production operations, including re-export to the order of non-residents was completed.

Specialists of Ukrgazvydobuvannya JSC continue to product natural gas at all facilities where possible. In addition, according to ExPro, the company continues to conduct drilling to increase production, in particular in the de-occupied territories of the Kharkiv region.
