Naftogaz predicts a deduction of UAH 5 billion from the activities of regional gas companies to the budget

The Naftogaz Group predicts a deduction to the state budget of over UAH 5 billion based on the results of the activities of operators of gas distribution networks controlled by it in 2024, reports Interfax Ukraine with reference to the company's statement.

"It's not just saving 50,000 jobs and billions of deductions that will fill the state coffers. This is an opportunity for quality control of gas supply, and a new convenient service for almost 10 million subscribers in the form of one clear payment", - the words of the chairman of the board of Naftogaz, Oleksiy Chernyshov, are quoted on the Naftogaz website.

According to him, the establishment of operational control over regional enterprises also allowed the state to "put an end to various schemes due to which the state budget did not receive billions of UAH."
