Naftogaz Oil Trading submitted its position regarding the management of the Glusco gas station to ARMA

Naftogaz Oil Trading LLC notes that it effectively and transparently manages the network of Glusco gas stations, and ARMA's actions regarding the termination of management contracts are illegal. The company sent its position with justification to ARMA on August 7, 2023.

Naftogaz Oil Trading notes that the termination of contracts occurred with numerous legal violations, and the inspection was conducted improperly. The position also states that ARMA's actions endanger the preservation of material evidence in the criminal proceedings against Medvedchuk and may lead to significant fines.

Naftogaz Oil Trading draws attention to the fact that the company, at its own expense, ensures the preservation of assets, information and property that serve as material evidence in criminal proceedings.

ARMA and Naftogaz Oil Trading LLC are participants in the economic concentration approval procedure, which is still under consideration. According to Naftogaz, until further actions regarding compliance with the antimonopoly legislation of Ukraine are agreed upon, any actions to change the manager are illegal and may result in significant fines.

Naftogaz Oil Trading asks ARMA to act exclusively on the basis, within the limits of authority and in the manner provided by the Constitution and laws of Ukraine. Naftogaz calls on ARMA to cancel/withdraw the letters of unilateral refusal of asset management contracts and to give Naftogaz Oil Trading an opportunity to submit substantiated written explanations and documents confirming them, based on the conclusions of the control results in the form of a camera inspection.

Naftogaz also asks ARMA to inform about the date and place of the meeting of the relevant ARMA body, which will consider the explanations and documents provided by Naftogaz Oil Trading and ensure the possibility of the company's representatives participating in this meeting, as well as to involve representatives of the Ministry of Energy and the Prosecutor General's Office in the meeting.

"Naftogaz Oil Trading continues to consider the concluded Glusco property management contracts valid and will implement them until the time of dispute resolution," the company notes.
