Naftogaz is processing feedback from owners of Eurobonds to prepare a formal offer

Naftogaz of Ukraine NJSC is processing feedback from owners of Eurobonds to prepare a formal proposal for debt restructuring. The company's press service reported this.

Naftogaz held an online meeting with owners of Eurobonds due in 2022 and 2026, where a working scenario for solving the situation with securities was proposed.

The company and the financial advisor Lazard Frères SAS are currently processing feedback from Eurobond owners to prepare a formal restructuring proposal.

The formation of the working scenario was influenced by the position of the owners of Eurobonds, as far as the situation and restrictions imposed by the government in connection with the full-scale war and the related destruction of the infrastructure of the group of companies allow.

"The strategic goal of Naftogaz is to restore the trust of the company's partners. We are currently waiting for feedback from Eurobond holders. I am sure that soon we will find a solution that will suit both our country and bondholders," explained Oleksiy Chernyshov, chairman of the board of Naftogaz.
