Naftogaz is counting on the formation of the company's supervisory board in January 2023

Oleksiy Chernyshov, the head of Naftogaz of Ukraine, expects the company's supervisory board to be formed at the end of January 2023. He announced this during the EBRD discussion on the stabilization and recovery of Ukraine.

"Rebuilding trust is my key task. This is related to the restart of the work of the supervisory board, which is planned to be created by the end of January," said Chernyshov.

The head of Naftogaz noted that the presence of a supervisory board will improve the transparency and manageability of the work of the Naftogaz board.

One may remind that the previous members of the Supervisory Board of Naftogaz resigned in September 2021.

During the absence of the Supervisory Board, part of its functions are performed by the Government within the framework of shareholders' meetings, approving the necessary decisions.
