Naftogaz held a meeting with the International Monetary Fund

The management of Naftogaz of Ukraine held a meeting with the mission of the International Monetary Fund (IMF), which recently started its work in Ukraine. This was reported by the chairman of the board of Naftogaz Oleksiy Chernyshov.

The representatives of the mission congratulated the company on the election of the new supervisory board and its first steps (election of the chairman and formation of committees).

"I am confident that the involvement of experienced industry specialists, who are members of the supervisory board, will help to work more effectively both on internal projects and in the international arena," Chernyshov noted.

Naftogaz also discussed with the IMF the provision of the necessary volumes of natural gas for the next heating season.

Naftogaz shared plans to increase hydrocarbon production in 2023 and discussed the issue of compensation for the difference in tariffs, which is relevant for the company. According to Chernyshov, Naftogaz is currently working with relevant ministries and the government to resolve this issue.
