Naftogaz has completed the integration of regional gas companies, joining 4 more gas distribution companies

The Naftogaz Group has completed the planned integration of regional and city gas companies, the company's press service reports. On December 19, 4 more gas distribution companies came under the control of the Naftogaz Group.

These are Tysmenytsiagaz JSC in the Ivano-Frankivsk region, Korostyshivgaz JSC in the Zhytomyr region, Luhanskgaz JSC and Melitopolgaz JSC.

Naftogaz notes that the two extreme enterprises are located in temporarily occupied territories, so operational management will be carried out after de-occupation.

Thus, 27 gas distribution enterprises are now operating within the Naftogaz Group, which were planned to be transferred to state control by the end of this year.

"As planned, we have completed the integration of regional and city gas companies into the Naftogaz Group. This is a big responsibility for us, as the number of our customers has increased significantly. However, this step was necessary, because the stability of critical infrastructure, the full operation of business and the comfort of Ukrainians depend on it. When the country is at risk of constant shelling and possible blackouts, the supply of gas must be uninterrupted.
