Naftogaz Group received $0.94 billion in net profit in 2024

According to the company's consolidated financial statements for 2024, confirmed by an independent auditor, KPMG, Naftogaz Group's net consolidated profit in 2024 amounted to UAH 37.9 billion ($0.94 billion).

Naftogaz's profit increased by 64% or UAH 14.8 billion compared to the previous year, from UAH 23.1 billion ($632 million) in 2023 to UAH 37.9 billion in 2024.

"All key business areas of the Group showed growth. This requires a lot of effort in peacetime, and in times of war, it is work on the verge of the impossible. I thank every employee of Naftogaz Group for this result. I thank the government for its support," said Roman Chumak, CEO of Naftogaz.

Gross profit for 2024 increased to UAH 89.1 billion ($2.22 billion) compared to UAH 48.5 billion ($1.33 billion) in 2023. At the same time, operating profit for 2024 amounted to UAH 51.1 billion ($1.27 billion), which is almost UAH 13.3 billion or 32% more than in the previous period.

The parent company, Naftogaz of Ukraine, ended the year with a profit of UAH 23.9 billion ($595 million). At the end of 2023, a loss of UAH 0.8 billion was recorded.

The largest contribution to the profit was made by Ukrgasvydobuvannya JSC, which increased its financial result to UAH 20.9 billion ($520 million), almost twice as much as in 2023.
