Naftogaz Group is starting the development of a decarbonization strategy, Oleksiy Chernyshov, Chairman of the Board, announced.

"This is a conscious approach to the environment where we live," Chernyshov said.

According to Chernyshov, the future of gas exports to the EU directly depends on how responsibly Ukraine will approach its production, storage, and transportation, because there are clear standards and requirements for this.

All divisions and subsidiaries of the Naftogaz Group will work on the development of the strategy.

"We will have a specific action plan with an assessment of the current state, goals, ways of financing, and terms of their implementation," added the head of Naftogaz.
