Naftogaz Group increased commercial gas production by more than 7% in 8 months of 2024

Naftogaz Group companies Ukrgasvydobuvannya JSC and Ukrnafta PJSC have produced 9.8 bcm of commercial natural gas in 8 months of 2024, the press service of Naftogaz reports. The companies increased gas production by more than 7% compared to last year.

According to Naftogaz, the current gas production figures exceed the operational plan by more than 2%.

"We are not abandoning our goal of switching to using only domestically produced gas for the needs of Ukrainians. Ukrgasvydobuvannya specialists have put 52 wells into operation. Of these, 17 are high-rate wells producing more than 100 tcm of gas per day. I thank the team for its efficient work," said Oleksiy Chernyshev, CEO of Naftogaz Group.
