Naftogaz entered the UEEX with the purchase of Ukrainian-produced natural gas

Naftogaz of Ukraine NJSC will hold the first auctions to purchase natural gas on the Ukrainian Energy Exchange (UEEX) on April 26, according to the exchange bulletin.

The company plans to purchase 12 mcm of natural gas, 6 mcm of the UGS-booked resource with transfer in April, and 6 mcm of the May-booked resource. The starting price for the UGS-booked resource is 10,972 UAH/tcm (without VAT) or 13,166 UAH/tcm (with VAT). Terms of payment - post-payment within 5 banking days after signing the commercial act.

Instead, the starting price for the May-booked resource is 10,791 UAH/tcm (without VAT) or 12,949 UAH/tcm (with VAT). Terms of payment - monthly payment with the first payment on May 10 in the amount of 25% of the total cost.

The pre-tender conditions also state that Naftogaz will purchase Ukrainian-produced resources.

One may remind, on April 19, Naftogaz announced the start of gas purchases on the domestic market, inviting potential sellers for accreditation.

Note that the starting prices of Naftogaz correspond to market prices according to Natural Gas ExPro Quotations. Thus, according to Natural Gas ExPro Quotations, as of April 25, prices for the UGS-booked resource were 13,000-13,500 UAH/tcm (including VAT), and for the May-booked resource 12,600-13,100 UAH/tcm (including VAT) ).
