Naftogaz CEO Chernyshov meets with Slovak Prime Minister Fico

Oleksiy Chernyshov, Chairman of the Board of Naftogaz of Ukraine, met with Prime Minister Robert Fico during his visit to Slovakia. Mr. Chernyshov announced this on his Facebook page.

The key topic of discussion was cooperation to strengthen common energy security in the face of current challenges.

According to Chernyshov, for Slovakia, it is about a stable supply of energy resources for the population, and for Ukraine, it is about strengthening national security by promoting Europe's diversification of energy sources.

“I thanked the head of the Slovak government for his constructive position and openness to dialogue. We agreed to work together to ensure the energy sustainability of the region,” commented Chernyshov.

As a reminder, Chernyshov discussed Ukraine's role in Europe's energy security during his visit to Slovakia.
