"Market operator" received a supervisory board

The Ministry of Energy of Ukraine appointed members of the Supervisory Board of JSC "Market Operator".

The Ministry of Energy reported this on January 2.

"By order of the Ministry of Energy of Ukraine, members of the supervisory board of JSC "Market Operator" were appointed and the personal composition of the supervisory board was approved. The document was adopted in accordance with the Laws of Ukraine "On the Management of State-Owned Objects", "On Joint-Stock Companies", a number of resolutions of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine, the Regulation on the Principles of the Formation of the Supervisory Board of JSC "Market Operator", approved by the order of the Ministry of Energy, and taking into account the minutes of the Commission meeting on the formation of proposals for the composition of the Supervisory Board of JSC "Market Operator" from December 16, 2022," - reports the Ministry of Energy.

As indicated in the "Market Operator", Polish investment banker, business representative at the European Commission Lukasz Dzekonskyi, representative of the management of the Scandinavian Nord Pool exchange Lina Masuliene and Ukrainian lawyer Yuliya Zhytnyk became members of the NR. Olena Kovalchuk, who has many years of experience working on corporate governance reform, and Dmytro Olefir, who has been working in the electric power industry of Ukraine since 1998, were elected state representatives.

As reported in ExPro, "Market Operator" became a joint-stock company in December 2021, which launched the process of corporatization of the company.
