"Market operator" joined the NEMO committee

Joint-stock company "Market Operator" joined the NEMO Committee - the Committee of European Operators, as an observer of the operation of the unified market of the spot market of electricity.

This was reported in the press service of "Market Operator".

JSC "Market Operator" joined the Committee of Market Operators - NEMO European Committee - in the status of an observer of the operation of the unified spot market of electric energy of the EU market. All nominated market operators (NEMOs), as well as all transmission system operators (TSOs) of European countries have given their consent to this," the company said in a statement.

As noted in the "Market Operator", the observer status in NEMO allows to start technical preparation for unification of the spot markets of Ukraine and Europe, which can start in the test mode as early as the second quarter of next year, and to study in more detail the work of SDAC and SIDC EUROPE.
