Kremenchuk CHPP may come under the control of Ukrnafta

The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine recommended by October 26 to study the issue of transferring the corporate rights of Kremenchuk CHPP to the management of PJSC "Ukrnafta" for the period of martial law. This is stated in the order of the Cabinet of Ministers dated October 22, 2024.

"In order to ensure a stable passage of the heating season during martial law, to recommend to the National Commission for Securities and the Stock Market to work out by October 26, 2024, the issues regarding the specifics of the application during martial law of legal acts regarding corporate rights forcibly alienated under the conditions of the legal regime of martial law , in terms of ensuring the possibility of managing the corporate rights of the state in the charter capital of the limited liability company "Kremenchuk CHP" by the public joint-stock company "Ukrnafta", - the order states.

According to the YouControl analytical system, 100% of the Kremenchuk CHPP currently belongs to the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine. The installed electric capacity of the CHPP is 255 MW.
