KNESS Smart Power will receive a license for aggregation in the electricity market

KNESS Smart Power Company, part of the KNESS Group, will receive a license for aggregation in the electricity market. The Regulator will consider the relevant draft decision on issuing a license at a meeting on December 10.

Reference, KNESS Smart Power was registered in September 2017, the director is Andriy Rymar. The main type of activity is electricity trading.

As previously reported, in March 2024, the company GS-Trading received a license for aggregation in the electricity market. In October 2023, the NEURC approved the Licensing Conditions for Conducting Economic Activities in Aggregation in the Electricity Market.

Aggregation is a licensed type of activity in the electricity market carried out by a business entity, related to the unification of electrical installations intended for the production and/or consumption, and/or storage of electricity for the purpose of buying and selling electricity, providing auxiliary services and/or balancing services in the electricity market.
