Jianye Ukraine claims to win Ukrnafta's tender for well-overhauling

Jianye Ukraine LLC submitted the best offer in Ukrnafta's tender for the overhauling of three wells in the Poltava region. The maximum time allotted for well overhauling – 130 calendar days, but no later than December 31, 2025.

As ExPro previously reported, in May 2024, Ukrnafta PJSC announced a tender for the overhauling of well No. 409 of the Kharkivtsivske field, well No. 7 of the Vasylivske field and well No. 21 of the Chyzhivske uplift of the Hlynsko-Rozbyshevske field. The tender was announced on the Prozorro platform with an expected value of UAH 87.06 million (excluding VAT).

Six companies took part in the tender: Dragon Oil Technologies Ukraine LLC with an offer of UAH 83 million, Hilong Oil Service and Engineering Ukraine LLC – UAH 79.99 million, UBS CRS LLC – UAH 73.9 million, Oranta LTD LLC – 73.85 million, Spetsmekhservis LLC – UAH 69.99 million and Jianye Ukraine LLC – UAH 65 million, which won the tender.

Jianye Ukraine plans to carry out overhauling of wells using its mobile drilling rig XJ650 (lifting capacity of 125 tons). If Ukrnafta signs the contract, Jianye Ukraine will drill insulating cement bridges (sand plugs and cement sleeves), remove old equipment from the wells and transfer the wells to lower horizons.

Last time, in May-June 2024, Ukrnafta signed two contracts (for a total of UAH 41.27 million) with Ukrainian Service Drilling Company-1 PE for well overhauling at the oil and gas production administrations (OGPAs) Poltavanaftogaz and Okhtyrkanaftogaz. In addition, in April 2024, Ukrnafta signed well workover contracts with Oranta Ltd (UAH 34.30 million), Ukrburservice LLC (UAH 20.63 million), and UBS CRS LLC (UAH 13.75 million).

Jianye Ukraine LLC is the Ukrainian subsidiary of China's Karamay Jianye Energy Co. The company is headed by Xing Yin. Jianye Ukraine has been operating in the Ukrainian oilfield services market since 2018.
