Ivano-Frankivskgaz, Khmelnytskgaz, and Mykolaivgaz transferred to Naftogaz

Three new gas distribution companies were transferred to the management of Gas Distribution Networks of Ukraine LLC (Gazmerezhi), which is part of the Naftogaz Group. This was reported by the company's press service. These are Ivano-Frankivskgaz JSC, Khmelnytskygaz JSC and Mykolaivgaz JSC.

"The integration of enterprises is the first step in solving the key goal - to ensure the stable and efficient functioning of each meter of the gas distribution system in three more regions. This is a task that is already being solved in several frontline and rear regions of Ukraine," the company notes.

Chornomornaftogaz JSC is the manager of the shares of the mentioned companies. Gas Distribution Networks of Ukraine LLC (Gazmerezhi brand) is a management company designed to become a national operator of gas distribution.

One may remind that previously Kyivoblgaz JSC, Zhytomyrgaz JSC, Lvivgaz JSC, Sumygaz JSC, Dnipropetrovskgaz JSC, and Vinnytsiagaz JSC joined the Naftogaz Group. The Kropyvnytskyi, Kirovohrad, Dnipro, and Kharkiv branches of Gazmerezhi have already received licensing and are fully functioning.

One may remind that to stabilize the energy sector, the Government instructed Naftogaz Group to manage the stakes in a number of regional and city gas distribution companies. This is regulated by the Decree of the Cabinet of Ministers dated May 28, 2022, No. 429-r "Some issues of asset management, which have been seized in criminal proceedings, in exceptional cases."
