Investors supported Naftogaz's proposals to restructure Eurobonds

On July 28, voting in support of the restructuring of Naftogaz Eurobonds due in 2022/2026 ended. A convincing number of investors supported Naftogaz's proposals for the restructuring of Eurobonds. This was announced by the head of Naftogaz Oleksiy Chernyshov.

"This issue was one of the priorities for me from the first days as the head of Naftogaz," Chernyshov noted.

According to the head of the company, the restructuring of Eurobonds will improve the liquidity of the Naftogaz Group and bring cooperation with international partners to a new level.

The actual exit from default will take place after the completion of all technical procedures and settlements.

It will be recalled that on July 13, Naftogaz started voting to obtain the consent of investors to restructure the bonds.
