Introduction of AVL hydrogen technologies as one of the tools for achieving energy independence

The introduction of hydrogen technologies is one of the tools for achieving Ukraine's energy independence. Vyacheslav Movchan, head of UK Engineering LLC stated at the Odesa Offshore Conference 2021.

The speaker, using successful cases on hydrogen energy transformations, described the experience of an Austrian partner, an engineering company AVL List GmbH positioning its work as an example of efficient implementation of innovations at all stages – from primary feasibility studies of hydrogen preparation, production, and storage to support of its further use or trading.

He also noted that AVL has over 11 thousand specialists, a presence in 26 countries of the world, 45 technical and engineering support centres, 1,500 patents, and expertise since 1948.

For many years, the company has been helping to implement the potential of "green" energy sources for the production of hydrogen, synthetic fuels, etc. The expert spoke about the challenges that may arise and the solutions that may already be available for the Ukrainian market and consumers today
