In Ukraine, 99.7% of boiler plants have been put into operation - Chernyshov

Despite the constant shelling of the Russian occupiers, Ukraine has started the heating season. To date, 99.7% of boiler houses are operational, 99.6% of residential buildings, 97.9% of kindergartens, 98.9% of schools, and 99.9% of health care facilities are provided with heating. This was discussed during the 11th meeting of the Headquarters for preparation for the autumn-winter period, which was held under the chairmanship of Oleksiy Chernyshov on November 28, 2022.

"I call on everyone to be alert and promptly respond to any emergency situations. The terrorist state once again demonstrated its essence to the world. I also thank all the energy workers who tirelessly repair our infrastructure so that Ukrainians have light and warmth," said Chernyshov.

Thanks to the coordinated actions of all services, 316 heat supply facilities have already been restored today, which is 53.3% of the total number of affected facilities. Special efforts are currently being directed at establishing the operation of heat-generating enterprises in the liberated territories of Kharkiv and Kherson regions, where the situation with access to communications remains difficult.
