In November 2021, private companies increased gas production by 7%, up to 426 mcm
Ukrainian privately-run natural gas producing companies in November 2021 collectively yielded up to 426 mcm, that was by 7.4% more in natural gas compared to the corresponding period of 2020. The private sector has stabilized production 14.2 mcm per day compared to October 2021. The share of private companies in the total national production of natural gas has become 26%.
The DTEK Oil&Gas remains the largest producer among Ukrainian private companies, as having produced 184 mcm of natural gas in November 2021, or by 17% more than in November 2020.
In November, the Esko-Pivnich Group of Companies increased production by 7% compared to November last year - up to 69 mcm.
It is also worth noting the Zakhidnadraservis Group of Companies, which increased production by 25% - up to 24.7 mcm in November 2021.
In the first 11 months of 2021, Ukrainian private companies collectively produced 4.56 bcm of natural gas, or by 2.3% more than in the same period of the last year. It is expected that in 2021 the production of natural gas by the Ukrainian private sector for the first time in history will exceed 5 bcm.
In general, Ukraine increased gas production by 1% in November 2021, up to 1.65 bcm a month.
