In Kherson, 129 transformer substations were flooded after the Kakhovskaya HPP was blown up

In Kherson, the pumping station of Kherson CHP and 129 transformer substations were flooded. Also, 2 solar power plants were flooded in the Mykolayiv region. The Ministry of Energy reported this on June 7.

"There is currently no direct threat due to the undermining of the Kakhovskaya HPP for the occupied power plant," the Ministry of Energy indicates. Also, the ministry adds that due to the undermining of the Kakhovskaya HPP, in the future there may be difficulties with recovery and establishment of a stable electricity supply for consumers of the adjacent territories after their deoccupation.
